This position is on-site.\r\nJob Description\r\nOur client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle APEX Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Database development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of secure, modular, and responsive applications while ensuring database integrity, performance, scalability, and security. This role requires expert-level hands-on PL/SQL and APEX development, a security-first build philosophy, and proven experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and OCID.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle APEX applications with a security-first mindset.\r\nDevelop complex and efficient PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support business logic.\r\nDesign and optimize database objects (tables, views, indexes, materialized views, constraints).\r\nCollaborate directly with business analysts and clients in iterative, client-facing solution design sessions.\r\nDrive performance tuning, SQL/PLSQL optimization, and security hardening.\r\nIntegrate APEX applications with external systems using REST APIs, JSON/XML, and secure data exchange methods.\r\nUtilize and establish standards for modularity, reusability, and maintainability; support code reviews and documentation.\r\nContribute to OCI (ExaCC) migration efforts as needed and support upgrades, patches, and new feature adoption.\r\nServe as escalation point for complex production issues, with focus on authentication and security.\r\nSupport GitHub-based workflows and GitOps practices to improve automation, code management, and secure deployments.\r\nPromote knowledge transfer within the team as technical subject matter expert and through collaboration.\r\nImplement and maintain SSO authentication/authorization with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and OCID.\r\nKnowledge and Experience\r\nExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), particularly ExaCC.\r\nHands-on expertise with GitHub, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise application delivery.\r\nProven track record of performance tuning for enterprise APEX applications.\r\nExperience developing or extending custom APEX plug-ins; knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics Cloud.\r\nFamiliarity with compliance frameworks (CIPA, FERPA, HIPAA, etc).\r\nRequired Skills\r\n6 years expert proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with focus on secure, performant coding.\r\n6 years deep knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c or higher).\r\nStrong knowledge of application security frameworks, encryption, and compliance best practices.\r\nProven experience with SSO integrations, specifically Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).\r\nHigh experience with GitHub, GitOps, and DevOps-driven automation.\r\nExcellent client-facing communication skills to support iterative development with stakeholders.\r\nBenefits\r\nThis opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
