TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection work globally with an established portfolio of clients providing best in class Executive Search results.We are seeking a hands‑on Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale end‑to‑end homebuilding operations across land, construction, purchasing, sales enablement, and customer delivery.The COO will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to drive performance, enforce discipline, and build repeatable operating systems that support profitable growth across multiple markets.What You’ll Own:Operational Leadership: Full ownership of day‑to‑day homebuilding operations, from land onboarding through final closing and warranty execution.Construction Excellence: Drive schedule adherence, cost control, quality standards, and safety across all communities and divisions.Margin & Scale: Lead purchasing, trade strategy, and process optimization to protect margins while increasing starts, absorptions, and delivery velocity.Cross‑Functional Alignment: Ensure land, operations, sales, design, and finance are tightly aligned to business plans and execution timelines.Performance Accountability: Implement KPIs, dashboards, and cadence that create visibility, urgency, and accountability at every level of the organization.Talent & Culture: Build, lead, and develop high‑performing operational teams with a clear performance culture and succession mindset.Ideal Background15+ years in homebuilding or residential development operationsSenior leadership experience overseeing multi‑market or multi‑division buildersDeep expertise in construction, purchasing, scheduling, and operational systemsProven track record scaling volume while improving margin and cycle timeStrong people leader with the ability to command respect in the field and the boardroomDue to the high volume to applications unfortunately we are unable to respond to each applicant.
