You’ll manage resources, improve processes, and develop talent while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key responsibilities include:\nDrive Operational Performance\nOversee workflow, production schedules, and timely delivery across assigned factories.\nMonitor production metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement.\nOptimize resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel.\nLead Tier 2 and attend Tier 3 meetings\nLead Continuous Improvement\nFacilitate Lean and Kaizen events to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\nIdentify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for efficiency.\nPartner with engineering and cross-functional teams to streamline operations.\nManage Financial and Inventory Goals\nBudget and forecast variable cost centers; improve factory cost performance.\nConduct cost-benefit analyses for capital equipment investments.\nMaintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials.\nEnsure Quality and Safety\nImplement and maintain quality control measures to meet industry standards.\nAddress quality issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety regulations.\nConduct regular safety audits and foster a safe work environment.\nDevelop and Lead Teams\nMentor and develop production managers and their teams.\nPromote engagement, retention, and a positive, collaborative culture.\nOverall responsibility and oversight of the factory, direct management of assigned factories\nWhat You Bring\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.\nProven success with Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.\nEffective communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of leadership.\nFamiliarity with inventory and supply chain management.\nNice-to-Have Qualifications\nExperience with Oracle and Business Intelligence tools.\nBackground in launching and sustaining new products in a factory setting.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.\nWhat You’ll Get\nCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus.\nComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision).\n401(k) with company match.\nPaid time off and company holidays.\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth.\nInclusive, collaborative work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nInterviews will not begin until February 5th\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
