Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve operational excellence. Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Manage warehouse distribution workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce turnaround times. Conduct regular process reviews to identify opportunities for improvement in logistics operations and implement effective solutions. Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting and materials movement as needed. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate shipping & receiving activities seamlessly. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management, including inventory management and control techniques. Proven ability in team management, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Strong knowledge of logistics principles, warehouse distribution strategies, and materials handling procedures. Mechanical aptitude with forklift certification and familiarity with heavy lifting equipment operation. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and related software such as OSHAsafety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation. Ability to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency while maintaining safety standards in an e-commerce or distribution setting.
