You'll work across multiple projects, collaborating with designers, project managers, and back-end developers to deliver fast, accessible, production-ready experiences in a modern front-end environment.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain modern React and Next.js front-end implementations across multiple customer projects\nDevelop scalable, reusable UI components and front-end architectures\nTranslate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive, and accessible user experiences\nOwn front-end features throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements and technical discovery through implementation, QA, and release\nIntegrate with backend services, APIs, and headless CMS platforms while handling real-world edge cases\nOptimize application performance using appropriate Next.js rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR)\nCollaborate with designers, project managers, backend developers, and project teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences\nContribute to coding standards, architectural decisions, code reviews, and front-end best practices\nParticipate in project estimation, technical discovery, and solution planning\nRequired Experience\nBachelor's degree\n5+ years of professional experience building web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript\n4+ years building React applications\n2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js projects\nExperience building accessible user interfaces and applying WCAG accessibility standards\nComfortable working with REST / GraphQL APIs\nExperience with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind, CSS Modules, BEM, or similar)\nExperience with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and peer code review\nStrong understanding of Next.js App Router & Page Router\nStrong understanding of React patterns, hooks, state management, and component architecture\nStrong understanding of rendering strategies (SSR / SSG / ISR / CSR)\nUnderstanding of client vs. server components and hydration\nKnowledge of performance optimization and bundle size management\nStrong understanding of semantic HTML\nNice to Haves\nExperience working with headless CMS environments (Sitecore XM Cloud or similar)\nExposure to A/B testing, middleware, or edge functions\nFamiliarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines\nAgency, consulting, or customer-facing project experience working across multiple concurrent projects and client teams\nComfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools\nAmericaneagle.com provides its employees with an energetic work environment and opportunities to further develop their skills.
