The Project Manager will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects related to air services. Air projects will include estimating air emissions, air permitting and dispersion modeling for clients in various fields, including solid waste, industrial, and energy facilities. This position offers a fast-paced environment with exciting challenges and meaningful opportunities for learning and professional growth.\nWhat You Will Do\nAssist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.\nPrepare air emissions estimates for various equipment and facility types.\nPrepare air permit applications.\nPrepare routine and non-routine air permit compliance reports.\nReview and interpret air compliance data.\nReview and interpret air regulations.\nPerform air dispersion modeling; prepare related reports and documentation.\nAdvise clients on complex air permitting pathways and air emissions controls.\nSystematically manage air permit compliance tracking monthly for multiple large clients with multiple facilities.\nPrepare proposals and budgets for clients with multiple facilities for various air permitting and compliance projects.\nCoordinate with project team members and clients.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nStrong organizational and time management skills combined with flexibility to work with shifting priorities.\nDemonstrate strong quantitative and observational skills.\nSolid attention to detail and technical understanding is required.\nClient-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nWork well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Earth/Atmospheric Science or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)\n8+ years of progressively responsible experience in air permitting and regulatory compliance\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license is not required but preferred.\nValid Driver's License\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires sitting, walking and, at times, bending and prolonged standing.\nMust be able to visit project sites and climb ladders and stairs as required.\nThe work requires both indoor and outdoor activity in temperatures ranging from moderate to extreme cold or hot and other weather conditions.\nMust be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment as required.\nSubstantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers is required.\nClose visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\nWork Format and Schedule\nStandard Hours: Fulltime, 40 hours per week\nSchedule: Monday through Friday with flexibility in daily hours\nWork Format: Hybrid or fully remote, depending on candidate location\nOffice Location: Candidates may be based near our offices in Burlington, VT; Bedford, NH; Boston, MA; Horsham, PA; or Wilmington, DE — or work fully remote\nTravel Requirement: Occasional travel as needed (less than 25%)\nSalary Information\nThe expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000 per year.\nSpecific compensation for the successful candidate will be based on factors such as experience, education, training, qualifications, and work location.\nSupplemental Pay: Annual bonus is based on individual and company performance.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental and vision insurance.\nHealth and wellness offerings.\n401(k) retirement and profit-sharing plan.\nEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).\nPaid holidays, floating holidays, vacation, and sick time.\nPaid time off for volunteering.\nCompany-paid long-term care insurance and life insurance.\nCompany-paid identity protection.\nHow to Apply\nWe invite you to submit an application with a resume and cover letter, telling us why you’d be a great fit for our team.
