The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and supporting high-volume, real-time transaction processing systems in a mainframe environment.\nThis role requires hands-on expertise with COBOL, CICS, and JCL, along with a solid understanding of debit card authorization, ISO 8583 messaging, and production support.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience with Mainframe COBOL development\nHands-on experience with CICS\nStrong JCL knowledge\nExtensive experience in Debit Card Processing\nExperience with real-time transaction processing (OLTP)\nKnowledge of ISO 8583 card transaction messaging\nExperience with authorization and decisioning logic (approve/decline, balance validation, spending limits)\nUnderstanding of the complete debit transaction lifecycle from POS/ATM through issuer authorization, including reversals and holds\nExperience troubleshooting and debugging production transactions in real time\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nBanking or Financial Services experience\nExperience supporting high-availability production systems\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL\nSupport mission-critical debit card processing systems\nAnalyze and resolve production issues involving real-time transactions\nDebug transaction failures and identify authorization or processing issues\nWork closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and production deployments\nInterview Process\n2–3 Webex interviews\nIf you have deep experience in mainframe development and debit card processing, we'd love to hear from you.
