This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working in an Agile environment on complex, highly integrated systems.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAnalyze and contribute to software system architecture and design.\n\nUnderstand and evaluate interfaces between multiple software and hardware subsystems.\n\nDevelop test procedures for system verification and validation.\n\nExecute module-level integration, functional, regression, and performance testing.\n\nAnalyze test results, document defects, and collaborate with software developers to resolve issues.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\n\nCollaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nParticipate in peer reviews, technical reviews, milestone reviews, and engineering meetings.\n\nSupport requirements verification and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.\n\nExperience writing clear functional and technical requirements.\n\nExperience performing integration, functional, regression, and performance testing on embedded software systems.\n\nExperience with requirements-based testing and maintaining traceability using IBM DOORS or an equivalent Requirements Management System (RMS).\n\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies, sprint planning, test iteration cycles, and DevSecOps CI/CD processes.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.\n\nExperience tracking and managing software defects.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\n\nExperience participating in formal technical reviews, walkthroughs, and audits.\n\nAbility to interpret:\n\nInterface Control Documents (ICDs)\n\nSoftware Requirements Specifications (SRS)\n\nSystem architecture documentation\n\nU.S. Citizenship required.\n\nActive DoD Secret Security Clearance .\n\nAbility to work on-site full-time.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExtensive experience conducting integration, functional, regression, and performance testing of embedded software systems.\n\nExperience designing and leading comprehensive verification and validation strategies.\n\nExperience performing system-level integration, performance, compliance, and acceptance testing.\n\nAbility to evaluate verification metrics and ensure software meets technical requirements and stakeholder expectations.Experience analyzing complex test data and leading root cause investigations.\n\nExperience coordinating defect resolution across cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nFamiliarity with aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical software development environments.\n\nWhy Join\nThis position offers the opportunity to work on advanced embedded software and systems integration projects supporting mission-critical technologies.
