Job Description Forklift Operator - 1st Shift | Hiring Immediately Location: Walford, IA Pay: $19.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Advance Services is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for a local, family-owned 3PL (third-party logistics) company in Walford, IA. This forklift operator role focuses on loading, unloading, order picking, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Forklift Operator Responsibilities:Unload inbound shipments and verify product against shipping documentsMove materials to storage locations and document put-away accuratelyPick orders and prepare shipments to customer specificationsLoad outbound shipments safely and efficientlyReport shipment discrepancies and inventory issuesPerform minor forklift maintenance within employee capabilityFollow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures Forklift Operator Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience as a forklift operator or warehouse associate preferredExperience in a warehouse or 3PL environment a plusStrong attention to detail and inventory accuracyAbility to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Basic computer/PC skillsAbility to stoop, bend, walk, and lift 50-60 lbs consistentlyWhy This Forklift Operator Role:Hiring immediatelySteady 1st shift scheduleMonday-Friday (no weekends)Work with a local, family-owned companyFull-time opportunity with consistent hoursWhy work for Advance Services, Inc.
