The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality and compliance related to the aerospace industry and its related certifications and requirements.\n\nQualifications\nKnowledge in Lean principles\nMinimum 5 years experience in Aerospace manufacturing\nNADCAP / AS9100 requirements\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nThree to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nWorking knowledge of Shop Mathematics, Blueprints, GD&T, Models, machining qualities of materials\nComputer skills necessary to learn/operate spreadsheets, email, powerpoint and web-based applications\nBasic knowledge of Work Health & Safety as they apply to a work safe environment\nVerbal and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment\nStrong communication skills\nStrong organization and planning skills\nKnowledge of 5S/Lean principles\nProblem Solving RCCA, Identifies and resolves problems; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully\nAnalytical be able to collect and research data (knowledge of SPC)\nPerform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on new programs to minimize or eliminate risk by focusing on prevention and continuous improvement\nProficient with researching, interpreting, and applying customer specifications and work instructions or procedures\nExcellent interpersonal and customer contact skills\n**Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S\n\nResponsibilities\nThe Quality Manager ensures that KIHM QMS conforms to Customer, AS9100, NADCAP and regulatory / legal requirements\nOversees the inspection of incoming materials, in-process and final product ensuring they meet requirements\nOversees inspection personnel (scheduling, performance reviews, etc..)\nTraining employees on Quality procedures\nPerforms root cause analysis of discrepancies (System or product) and implement corrective actions\nAnalyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints\nEvaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment (MSA studies)\nPerform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on new programs to minimize or eliminate risk by focusing on prevention and continuous improvement\nManage the monitoring, measurement and review of internal process\nWorks with Engineering and Operations to ensure company goals are met\nPrepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data\nAssist in developing training to build quality awareness\nPerforms audit (internal, external)\nOther various duties as needed or as assigned\nFully understand blueprints, drawings, templates, preliminary sketches and/or work orders\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee should have the ability to stand for long durations of time. The employee could be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
