To accomplish this, alterations to the existing CDC building and its site will be necessary and included in the Scope Of Work.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nProvide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.\nRead, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.\nArrange, coordinate, attend, and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.\nDocument issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.\nReview contractor's baseline and progress schedules.\nDraft project related correspondence.\nUnderstand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspections.\nInspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards.\nDeliver reports, reviews, evaluations, and design work to Government Contracting Officer (GCO).\nReview and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up.\nCoordinate on-site staff assignment\nProvide technical review of proposed modifications to the contract and make recommendations to the GCO.\nMaintain records and files of correspondence, site conference reports, shop drawings, RFIs, addenda, change orders, and supplementary drawings issued subsequent to award of the construction contract.\nCoordinate with the construction contractor's quality control (inspection) personnel in accordance with NFC 46-12\n- Inspection of Construction.\nRequired Education, Knowledge and Skills:\nAn accredited degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (structural, mechanical, civil, or electrical) with a minimum of 10 years of practical field experience\nMinimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required.\nKnowledge and experience with construction practices including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulations\nKnowledge of cost estimating with breakdown of labor, materials and equipment costs for proposed construction contract modifications.\nAbility to evaluate payment requests\nAbility to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications.\nWritten and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills\nKnowledge of software including MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ProjectTeam, Primavera, MS Project, and any other software programs typically utilized\nMaintain a valid driver's license.\nQualified applicant must be able to pass a background check.\nAbility to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.\nAbility to walk and climb stairs or ladders on a daily basis to observe and inspect contract performance.\nMust be familiar with NAF/FAR and DOD regulations to assist in administration of construction contract.\nWhat Does PSI Offer You?\nThree options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings\n24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenience\nHSA\nCompany life insurance options for you and your family\nShort-term and long-term disability offerings\nPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs\n401(k) with a 4% employer match\nGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leave\nAlways the opportunity for professional development\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
