The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly rate based on experience. Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 12 pm - 9 pm with extended hours on an as-needed basis.\r\nHow you will make an impact:\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:\r\nPerforming manual material separation for processing\r\nRemoving non-compliant materials during the sorting process\r\nHandling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant\r\nGeneral plant housekeeping inside and outside the building\r\nReporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff\r\nWhat you need to succeed:\r\n0-2 years' experience in an industrial environment\r\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment\r\nRequired Skills & Competencies:\r\nHigh awareness to safety at all times\r\nAbility to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity\r\nAbility to sit for extended periods of time\r\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\r\nAbility to operate equipment properly and safely\r\nStrict adherence to OSHA and company policies.\r\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\r\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a plant environment and may be exposed to hot or cold conditions.
