We have a variety of meaningful assignments that allow students to gain valuable experience in the manufacturing environment. The assignments provide students with opportunities to develop by integrating classroom theory with practical work and to demonstrate their skills for future career opportunities at IFF.\n\nIn Manufacturing Technology, you will have opportunities to do the following:\n\nWork in a dynamic, team environment that leverages the resources of our large organization.\nDevelop an understanding of the manufacturing technology environment through execution of capital and process related projects.\nParticipate in the internship program and work-specific training and development.\nPerform analytical project work using Six Sigma methodology.\nWork with experienced manufacturing technology professionals in the performance of your responsibilities.\nDevelop an understanding of IFF Business Units and Operations, our product offerings and how materials and service requirements and issues are managed.\nAdopt and follow IFF's core values of empowerment, expertise, integrity, innovation, and responsibility both on a personal and business level.\nWork in a business casual environment with flexible work/life opportunities.\n\nThe scope of the intern's role will vary dependent on the manufacturing technology site. Internships are 10-12 weeks.\n\nJob Qualifications\n\nThe following requirements MUST be met for consideration in this student employment program:\n\nCurrently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.\nEnrolled in an ABET accredited program in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering.\nHave the right to work in the U.S. without restriction.\n\nPreferred Attribute: 3.0 GPA or Higher.\n\nIn addition to these requirements, we are seeking candidates who have demonstrated the following core competencies:\n\nOutstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills.\nAccomplished computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database experience.\nStrong work ethic and the ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner.\n\n LOCATION\n\nThis role will be located at our Beloit, WI facility.\n\nWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
