This role involves operating production equipment, handling glass materials, performing quality inspections, packaging finished products, and supporting daily manufacturing operations while following all safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate automated glass cutting equipment to cut glass to production specifications.Perform manual separation and handling of glass sheets.Load, stage, and transport glass carts throughout the production area.Inspect incoming glass and finished products for quality defects.Use lift-assist equipment and suction cup tools to safely move glass products.Remove finished products from the production line and place them on A-frames or carts.Build shipping crates and prepare finished products for shipment.Stage completed orders for freight pickup.Perform basic operator maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.Work closely with supervisors and engineering teams to identify equipment or process issues.Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Associate degree in a technical field is a plus.Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or other industrial environments preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Basic knowledge of hand tools is preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Ability to safely handle large glass products using lift-assist equipment and suction cup tools.Company DescriptionElevaIT is a certified and values driven Service-Disabled Veteran owned global staffing and IT professional services firm serving Fortune 1000 clients with customized and scalable workforce solutions.
