This position is responsible for assisting with routine tasks such as feeding and watering, maintaining clean living areas, and ensuring the overall well-being of the animals while also leading a small team of Farm Hands.\nIdeal candidates are reliable, attentive, and willing to learn. Previous experience working on a farm or with livestock is a plus but not required. The Farm Hand Supervisor is expected to lead and supervise the care of the animals, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and contribute positively to the care and operation of animals. This is an on-site, full-time, hourly position.\nResponsibilities: Provide fresh food and water for the animals\nMaintain the animals' living areas to ensure a clean and comfortable environment\nObserve and report any changes in the animal's behavior or health to the supervisor\nAssist in safely handling and moving the animals as needed\nMaintain and repair trailers, fencing or corrals as needed\nMaintain health records\nLead a small team of farm hands to provide the upmost care for the farm animals at Whitewater\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements: Previous farm or livestock experience is preferred\nLeadership experience\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\nGenuine interest in animals and their care\nPhysically capable of performing manual labor for extended periods\nAbility to move haystacks and other heavy items solo\nAbility to work outdoors for sustained periods of time under varying weather conditions\nAdhere to all Whitewater Center procedures and protocols\nPhysical Demands: Standing for extended periods throughout the day\nLifting and carrying heavy objects as required\nBending, reaching, pushing, and pulling during daily tasks\nPerforming repetitive motions consistently\nWhitewater's mission is rooted in the belief that we all share a genetic code that compels us to play outside and share these experiences with others.
