A Field Service Specialist can be involved in a variety of activities to support our customers. Following are typical types of activities:Scheduled service call out for electrical, controls, mechanical (depending on skillset & experience) related issuesEmergency service call out for electrical, controls, mechanical (depending on skillset & experience) related issuesAC/DC drive start-upsInstalled Base EvaluationsProject start up support Responsibilities:Provide high quality troubleshooting support to our customers in the areas of controls, electrical & mechanical systems.Maintain a high level of platform knowledge to provide credibility to customersMaintain a high level of knowledge on automation technologyWork closely with the sales team/Automation Specialist on the pursuit of an opportunityCommunicate project status to the customer, sales team, and SBU Manager for all activities engaged in Requirements:Bachelor's Degree PreferredFive + years of experience in providing service and support of Rockwell Automation PLC's, HMI's & Drives at a minimum. Experience in industrial networking, electrical troubleshooting, or mechanical troubleshooting preferredA strong technical background is requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in all common Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) CBT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
