Our core services fight isolation and support independent, healthy living. We are currently seeking an experienced Development Director to join our team. The Development Director is a leadership level position responsible for overseeing all aspects of fundraising within the organization. This role requires strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive the agencys fundraising efforts. **Responsibilities Include:**Developing and executing a strategic fundraising plan that supports the agencys mission and goals.Leading and managing the development and marketing team, providing guidance and support to staff members.Engaging with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership to align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.Overseeing major gift solicitations and ensuring proper stewardship of donors.Monitoring fundraising trends and adjusting strategies as needed to maximize revenue. **Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.A minimum of five years related experience in comparable or progressively responsible position.Experience in fundraising.Strong leadership and team management skills including 3 years of supervisory experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners.Experience in responding to grant RFPs including private foundations and local, state and federal government sources.Experience in soliciting major gifts preferred.Valid Maine Drivers LicenseMust receive favorable results from drivers license, reference and criminal conviction background checks for any offer of employment. **Job Type and Pay:**40-hours per week / full time Hybrid positionPay: \$72,000 to \$80,000 per year **Full Benefit Package:**Thirteen paid holidays and generous Earned Benefit TimeHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision ProgramLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceShort Term Disability InsurancePension PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) Interested individual should submit a letter of interest, salary requirements and resume to or: Human Resources SeniorsPlus 8 Falcon Road Lewiston, ME 04240 **SeniorsPlus is an equal opportunity employer**
