The growing Madison, AL-based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!Job DescriptionInstall, configure, and maintain operating system, software, and hardwareMonitor system performance to improve availability and reliabilityPerform system upgrades, patch management, and server maintenance tasks to enhance system security and functionalityTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issuesPerform backup and recovery operations at regular intervals using Veeam Backup & Replication (configuration, monitoring, and management)Utilize ITIL-based processes to capture tasks and obtain approvalsDevelop and maintain documentation of system and network configurationsProvide technical support and guidance to end-usersSupport network design, configuration, and ongoing network infrastructure management (switches, routers, firewalls)Administer hybrid Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure Active DirectoryUtilization of an RMS platform for remote maintenance or end user supportRequired QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content), or 8 years of experience in lieu of educationMinimum of 5 years of system administration experience in any size environmentFoundational understanding of UNIX and Windows systemsCore understanding of networking (e.g., routing, switching, protocols, and basic network security)3-5 years of system administration experience supporting Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) requirementsExperience administering hybrid Microsoft 365 environmentsHands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and disaster recovery planningExperience in network engineering tasks such as design, implementation, and support of enterprise networksExperience in server patching and maintenance best practicesExperience working with ITIL Service Transition and Operation processes, such as Change Management and Incident ManagementMust be able to obtain a SECRET security clearanceDesired Qualifications / Non-essential SkillsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub)Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentation, and effective communicationAbility to work collaboratively in a team or independently when requiredExperience in Agile environmentsExperience working in Cloud DevOps environments, such as Azure DevOpsExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and DoD compliance policiesIAT II certification required (e.g., Security+, Cloud+) or obtained within 6 months of hire dateJOB LOCATIONMadison, Alabama, United StatesPOSITION TYPEFull-Time/RegularCompensation/BenefitsCompetitive Salary/Comprehensive Benefits PackageUs Citizenship RequiredYesABILITY TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCEYesJob Posted by ApplicantPro
