We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!\n\n*Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include but may not be limited to:*\n\n* Maintenance Supervisor is required to be “on-call” and to respond to emergency maintenance requests\n* Responsible for breakdown repair and preventative maintenance activities throughout the plant and provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.\n* Perform preventative maintenance, identify and correct problems of equipment using appropriate tools\n* Adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies\n* Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to mechanical systems\n* Maintain good employee relations while establishing accountability for individual behaviors\n* Engage in project planning\n* Operate welding and cutting equipment\n* Oversee safety program and preventative maintenance\n* Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules\n\n*Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:*\n\n* Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred\n* 5 + years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience\n* 2+ years of experience managing a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment\n* Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience\n* Ability to bring a maintenance team together, develop junior level maintenance staff and work in a team environment within a diverse workforce\n* Strong sense of job ownership/accountability with effective verbal and written communication skills\n* Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required\n\n*Company Benefits:*\n\n* Competitive Compensation\n* Professional and safe work environment\n* Employee referral bonus\n* Retention Bonus\n* 401(k) Match\n* Dental insurance\n* Health insurance\n* Vision insurance\n* Professional training and development\n* Paid vacation\n\n*Equal Opportunity Employer:*\n\nSofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
