Thank you for being a part of the Glockner family!CompensationWeekly PayMonday through FridayFulltime hoursHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance available, plus ancillariesPaid vacation and paid holidaysShort-term disability401K plus MatchOur on-staff Nurse Practitioner is available 24/7 to answer your health questions and keep you in great health.Employee discounts on parts, services, and vehicle purchases Paid training and continuing educationResponsibilitiesDraining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specificationsTopping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluidInspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issuesChecking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacture specificationsInstalling new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteriesLubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicingDiagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issuesQualifications:Demonstrated experience with servicing vehiclesValid driver's licensePre-employment drug test and background checkTime management and organizational skills as well as hand and eye coordinationEffective communication and customer service skillsThe ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals as well as relay information in reportsThe physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds
