Manages all aspects of his/her department operations in a high-volume production environment to meet the goals and objectives set by the Production Manager. Specifically responsible for the work safety and product quality environment of his/her department.\n\nHow You Will Help\n\nSupervise daily production and manufacturing operations in accordance with established procedures and company policies\nPromote and maintain positive employee relations through coaching, development, and effective resolution of personnel issues\nMonitor employee adherence to safety practices and conduct daily safety GEMBA walks and monthly Mill Drills.\nInvestigate safety incidents and perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys methodology\nEnsure accurate and timely production reporting through the ERP system\nMaintain employee timecards and attendance tracking using the ADP Time-Keeper system\nEnsures proper production reporting is being conducted utilizing ERP system\nProactively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement across processes and workflows\nLeads teams in evaluating production issues and provides guidance to ensure timely and effective resolution\nFollow Supervisor Standard Work procedures and drive accountability within the team\nAssign labor to work centers daily and manage scheduling for mold set-ups and break coverage\nMonitor inventory levels in the cold room and generate rework lists based on inventory age\nCollaborate with the Scheduling team to ensure production goals are met on time\nCollaborate closely with Human Resources to administer disciplinary actions, coordinate training programs, manage employee performance, and conduct annual evaluations\nIdentify and resolve production challenges in real time, driving continuous improvement initiatives\n\nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned\n\nWhat you Will Bring\n\nPossession of high school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.\nFive years or more of relevant manufacturing experience and/or a commensurate level of education and experience.\nProven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices.\nExperience with ERP systems, MS Office and timekeeping software such as ADP.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nCommitment to promoting a safe and productive workplace culture\n\nJob Benefits\n\nHealth & Dental\nLife Insurance\n401(k) with 100% match up to 4%\nSTD & LTD\nVariety of Additional Supplemental Insurances\nCompany Paid Holidays, Vacation & PTO\n\nAbout ASC Engineered Solutions\nFollowing the 2019 merger of Anvil International and Smith-Cooper International, the unified company relaunched in March 2021 as ASC Engineered Solutions.
