{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b30c91dac2cdbdaf01a0cdde","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b30c91dac2cdbdaf01a0cdde","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b30c91dac2cdbdaf01a0cdde","title":"AWS DevOps Engineer","description":"AWS Senior DevOps EngineerThis resource will be part of our growing Infrastructure Automation Team within Public Cloud.\r\nThis role will be key in working with various infrastructure teams (Security, Networking, Database, Unix) to develop, deploy, and support cloud and hybrid applications.\r\nDue to the collaborative nature of the role, it will be important that this resource be senior in both DevOps / AWS / technical skills and interpersonal skills.\r\nCandidate should have strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and leadership skills to partner with broader global technology engineering, information security, and line of business teams.\r\nUse AWS to deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applications.\r\nAssist in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.\r\nDesign, develop, and implement automation to support continuous delivery and integration solutions.\r\nProvide consulting and help build pipelines for application teams integrating cloud services into their applications.\r\nDesign and develop platform engineering and automation for governing usage of cloud services and application autonomy.\r\nDesign and implement workflows to automate the release and upgrade process for applications in Development, Test, and Production environments.\r\nCollaborate with the Cloud Security and Identity Teams on the administration and engineering of Role-Based Access Controls and processes.\r\nHelp design and develop governance of cloud infrastructure, including technical controls and cost governance structures.\r\nCreate and update support documentation and standards.\r\nDevelop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, supporting systems, and business processes.\r\nUse Jira to track and manage all work through the development lifecycle.\r\nProactively analyze and contribute improvements to deployment processes.\r\nInvestigate and contribute to resolving issues in production environments.\r\nDrive compliance and security efforts related to systems managed by the team.\r\nSkills / Experience5+ years experience in AWS.\r\nAWS professional and/or specialty certifications, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer.\r\nExperience implementing secure architectures for private and/or public internet-facing systems.\r\nStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices (e.g., K8S, Containers, Serverless, Microservices).\r\nStrong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.\r\nStrong understanding of networking, internet protocols, and distributed systems.\r\nExperience designing and developing resilient, highly available, and scalable cloud systems.\r\nExperience in cloud cost optimization and budget management.\r\nProficiency in Python, AWS CLI.\r\nWorking knowledge of Shared Responsibility models.\r\nPrior experience building CI/CD pipelines.\r\nExperience working in Agile teams and tools like Jira, Confluence.\r\nBackground in software development is a plus.\r\nUnderstanding of financial markets is a plus.\r\nAzure experience is a plus.\r\nBachelor's degree in STEM or related field;
