{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b2f18600112f24e2c72d09d0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b2f18600112f24e2c72d09d0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b2f18600112f24e2c72d09d0","title":"Quality Engineer","description":"Job ID – 477162\n\nTitle – Quality Engineer\n\nLocation – Longview, Texas (onsite only)\n\nClient – REV Group\n\nBudget – As per the market standard for 5 to 7 years ONLY\n\nExperience – 5 to 7 years\n\n*Job Description:*\n\n* Organize, analyze, and implement all quality initiatives and systems for the site to accomplish departmental and corporate goals and objectives.\n* Ensure compliance to all the company's manufacturing and product specifications.\n* Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through customer focus, corrective/preventive actions, advanced product quality planning (APQP) and continuous improvement.\n* Focus on scrap and rework reductions.\n* Utilize statistical tools and CAD/product drawings for problem solving and continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment.\n* Drive implementation of containment, corrective, preventive actions, and follow up activities.\n* Review product specifications to present/recommended plant capabilities and improve quality assurance/control and process capability as necessary.\n* Drives source inspection philosophy to key personnel in organization.\n* Implements a cost-effective quality management system that minimizes Quality risks to the customer, maximize product reliability and minimize costs.\n* Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.\n* Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products.\n* Assist Purchasing Department efforts in Supplier Quality Assurance and provide input/criteria for supplier sourcing and PPAP activities.\n* Implements and improves upon ISO efforts.\n* Implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with plant supervision to support the plant's quality program which achieves meeting or exceeding customer requirements.\n* Respond to customer complaints by directing containment, root cause investigations, corrective action and follow up and resolution with the customer.\n* Participates and/or leads daily Quality Wall process.\n* Ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated in standard work.\n* Measurements (metrics)- communicates performance to direct reports group.\n* Knowledge of SPC, Capability Studies, Gage R&R and Sampling plans.\n* Familiarity with PFMEA.\n* Manage PPAP and quality process analysis for launch, cost reduction, quality improvement activities and efficiency improvement.\n* Qualification -
