This position involves partnering with cross-functional teams to drive availability, resiliency, and operational excellence throughout global infrastructure platforms.\nLead daily operations for global storage and backup systems supporting enterprise infrastructure.\nAdminister and troubleshoot storage block and file services in private and public cloud environments.\nDrive AI-powered operations, implement event-driven automation, and advance observability initiatives.\nIntroduce repeatable operational patterns to improve platform availability and reliability.\nCollaborate closely with storage engineering to provide strategic input on storage platform direction.\nIndependently troubleshoot and resolve complex storage infrastructure issues in large-scale environments.\nWork with Windows and Linux engineers to identify and mitigate storage-related performance issues.\nSupport management of cloud infrastructure and drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.\nDevelop, contribute to, and maintain automation solutions to further operational efficiency.\nSupport and sometimes lead large-scale, global infrastructure projects and initiatives.\nParticipate in rotational work schedules or on-call responsibilities as required.\nEssential Skills, Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.\nFour to seven years of experience working as a Storage Platform Engineer or similar role in large-scale enterprises.\nHands-on expertise with Dell SAN storage and backup solutions deployed within enterprise environments.\nStrong background in administering storage environments—block and file—across private and public clouds.\nExperience designing and supporting enterprise-grade storage administration and resiliency at scale.\nFamiliarity with Artificial Intelligence-enabled automation tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or related technologies.\nIn-depth knowledge of CIFS, SMB, NFS, and multi-protocol storage solutions.\nBasic but proven Linux system administration proficiency.\nExperience using automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.\nExcellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.\nDemonstrated cross-functional team collaboration within global or distributed workforces.\nExperience delivering consistent, high-quality technical solutions within agile team environments.\nPreferred Skills:\nCloud certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS), or demonstrated knowledge of public cloud environments.\nExperience with Azure and AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms.\nDirect experience with Dell storage and backup management tools.\nProven record leading global-scale infrastructure or cloud migration initiatives.\nSupport experience with AI and Machine Learning infrastructure environments.\nTools and Technologies:\nDell SAN Storage\nEnterprise Backup Platforms\nAzure & AWS\nInfrastructure as a Service (IaaS)\nAnsible, Puppet\nLinux & Windows Server Platforms\nCIFS, SMB, NFS protocols\nObservability and monitoring platforms\nArtificial Intelligence Operations Tools (including Claude Code, Codex)\nECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
