Events & Marketing Operations Manager

Join us on our journey and make a meaningful impact on the lives of people around the globe.Responsibilities And DutiesEvents Management (40%):Lead the development of Recor’s conference strategy and priorities in partnership with Marketing and SalesCoordinate execution of conferences, including exhibits, meetings, presentations, promotions, etc.Build relationship with key contacts of different society conferences on behalf of RecorPlan and execute corporate-sponsored events, medical education programs and departmental on-site meetings, delivered on time and on budgetSupport regional and local conference events for the U.S. commercial team, including providing demonstration materials as neededCommunicate event-related information, including running planning meetings, delivering update emails, drafting post-conference reports, sending invitations, building registration processes, etc.Stay up to date on the latest advancements in event planning and exhibiting, establish best practices, and bring new ideas forward for considerationEnsure all documentation of event participants (HCP) is complete and accurate, aligned with Legal and Compliance and properly documented in the appropriate software or platformMarketing Operations (40%):Oversee marketing material approval process, including managing project intake, running review calls with functional representatives, tracking and reporting project status, and driving materials through the review process to approvalManage deployment and life cycle of marketing materials through marketing operations management platform to ensure commercial team is using approved and up-to-date materialsOwn and manage the marketing operations management platform, including:Overseeing functionality and efficient use of marketing operations management platform, including platform repairs, improvements, expansion, etc.Managing platform licensing, train platform users, and provide supportEnsuring proper archiving of materials and assets in the platformManage sales material fulfillment, including delivery of new materials for production to fulfillment vendor, inventory management, and replenishmentAct as marketing operations subject matter expert, identifying opportunities, championing best practices, and identifying tools and technologies to run an efficient marketing communications departmentManage vendor selection and relationships respective to marketing operationsMaintain a high-level and up-to-date understanding of local compliance and contract execution rulesMarketing/Marcom Special Projects and Budget Management (20%):Work with Marketing and Market Development leaders on special projects tied to key initiatives, opportunities include – program building, competitive messaging, digital lead generation, direct-to-patient and sales trainingManage tradeshow and events budgets, including exhibit vendor fees, onsite production costs, graphic production expenses, etc.Manage marketing operations budget, including platform licensing, support and maintenance, print fulfillment, etc.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required5+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or other relevant industry5+ years of experience in conference and events management2+ years of experience in marketing operations or marketing process management2+ years of budget management experienceProven track record in planning and executing multiple annual conferences/trade shows and corporate meetingsExcellent project management skillsExcellent budget management skillsAbility to leverage and manage external vendors to drive project executionExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter driven to execute and continually improveStrong intellectual curiosity with the desire to learn best practices and improve effectivenessAbility to operate in a dynamic business environmentAbility to effectively coordinate cross-functionally to deliver products on time and on budgetFluent in EnglishNice To HavesDownstream marketing experienceKnowledge and experience in the interventional cardiology fieldDirect-to-patient marketing communications experienceProduction and agency management experienceSalary Range: $156,543 – $182,954 (Annual Base Salary)The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
