This Software Engineer will possess a solid understanding of the C and C++ programming languages with the capability to navigate, refactor, and contribute to challenging codebases.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nWorks independently and in teams to provide architecture-level oversight for multiple projects.\nDevelop and optimize robust, secure, and scalable software systems using Cand C++ in a Linux & Unix environment.\nAnalyze and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nCollaborate closely with systems engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and integrate software components.\nImplement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and system-level testing, to ensure software reliability and performance.\nParticipate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and insights to maintain high coding standards and practices.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on C and C++ programming in complex, high-stakes environments.\nDemonstrated expertise in software engineering best practices, including version control, continuous integration, and automated testing.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide solutions to complex technical problems.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills with a proven track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nFunctional expertise and experience with the following DevSecOps capabilities:\nExpertise with infrastructure automation with Puppet\nSoftware configuration management using Git\nArtifact repository management using Nexus\n\nEducation/Experience\n\nBachelor’s Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or Associate’s Degree and minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience (Identify Minimum Education and/or experience) or a combination of experience/education in lieu of degree.\n\nClearance Requirement\n\nTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required\n\nInfinity Benefits\n\nGreat Company Culture.
