(P.P.O #119694)\nPosition Summary\nOur Security Officers are responsible for safeguarding and protecting our clients' employees, visitors and facilities. Security Officers provide excellent customer service, respond to incidents, call for service, conduct regular security patrols and document activity while helping to sustain a creative work environment at the site.\nThere are multiple shift and location options, overtime, promotion opportunities and provided training.\nShift Availability\nCSS currently has multiple sites, shifts and positions available. We offer a flexible schedule and overtime is available.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe hourly rate for our Shift Supervisor starts at $30.75 an hour. Additional compensation includes a $1,000 hiring bonus, shift differential pay of $2.00/hour for graveyard shifts, referral bonuses and performance-based raises.\nCSS employees are also eligible for the following benefits:\nPaid Holidays\nPaid sick leave\nUniform and equipment provided\nRecognition and reward programs\nProfessional development and tuition reimbursement of up to $3,000 per year.\nEssential Position Responsibilities:\nComplete and deliver timely and accurate reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.\nConduct effective security patrols.\nExecute and enforce client-specific tasks.\nMaintain client confidential.\nObserve, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence.\nProvide support in the event of an emergency or alarm.\nProvide excellent customer service to our clients.\nObserve, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.\nEnforce client procedures, regulations and standards.\nPrevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances.\nInspects buildings and access points.\nAbility to adhere to all client policies, rules, regulations, and local and federal laws.\nSupports investigations, conducts surveillance; and gathering of facts.\nResponsible for properly caring for all company and client-provided equipment, such as Cyber Keys, Radios, I.D Badges; and Vehicle upkeep.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nEducation, Certifications and License Requirements:\nMust posses a high school diploma or equivalent.\nValid CA BSIS Guard Card Certification.\nValid US State-issued Driver's License.\nFirst Aid/CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain after employment.\nQualifications:\nAt least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.\nAbility to evaluate and deescalate conflicts/arguments.\nAbility to remain calm while under pressure.\nAccurate and detailed report writing.\nIndividuals must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide verifiable proof of their vaccination status or have a valid accommodation or exemption.\nAbility to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, indoors and outdoors, under various environments conditions.\nGood interpersonal skills.\nComfortable using technology.\nNeat and professional appearance.\nRead, understand, and speak English; constantly use speech and hearing (correctable to normal level required) to communicate with the public/co-workers, give and receive instructions, and use phones.\nExceptional attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with various patrolling and monitoring techniques.\nInteract and communicate effectively.\nStrong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with various personalities in a business office environment.\nImportant Notice for All Job Applications:\nThank you for your interest in joining our team!
