Together, we will continue to shape the future of technology-driven experiences.\n\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a Project Engineer located near our office in Orlando, FL or Remote.\nIn this role you will perform audio, video, and control engineering functions as required to support the sales, design, delivery, and support of custom audiovisual systems. The Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is the technical delivery of audiovisual solutions during a client engagement.\nWhat you'll do\nTravel as required to perform site inspections, commissioning, programming, documentation and training related to the installation of these systems.\nProvide peer reviews of system designs prior to proposal delivery.\nProduce, maintain, and complete test plans and quality assurance checklists throughout the duration of a project.\nComplete or oversee project device configuration - including but not limited to audio processors, automation controllers, media servers, AVoIP systems, video processors, and media endpoints.\nUpon project completion, provide as-built documentation, user guides, and runbooks.\nTravel regularly to job sites to perform inspections, commission systems, and conduct user training.\nStay up to date on the latest manufacturer trainings and certifications.\nCollaborate with Electrosonic Solutions Designers during the deployment process to ensure that design intent is understood.\nCollaborate with Electrosonic Project Manager to ensure that deadlines and deliverables are being met.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualification\nA technical degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field.\n2+ years as an audiovisual engineer or 6+ years in other audiovisual roles.\nStrong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interface with creative clients and high-level executives.\nComputer literacy with fluency in MS Word and Excel.\nA working knowledge of audiovisual technology, show control systems, and media networks.\nGood organization skills, flexibility, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAVIXA CTS and CTS-I Certification\nWorking knowledge of software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp.\nFamiliarity with technology platforms such as Pixera, Q-SYS, and ISAAC.\nSalary based on experience: $70,000-90,000 yearly\nTravel: 50-75% of the year.\n\nA day in the Life\nInclusive Team Culture\nAt Electrosonic we embrace our differences.
