Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various medical settings. As an LPN or MA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting with their daily needs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Medical office experience with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems
Pediatric nursing or working with children
Geriatrics and senior care practices
Additional skills that are beneficial include knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, phlebotomy skills, and administering vaccines.
