We are starting by converting 3D CAD models to engineering drawings using cutting-edge computational geometry algorithms integrated with mechanical engineering heuristics.Small team, huge impact: We're only 7 engineers today, backed by $3 million in funding, each new hire shapes the company's trajectory.Culture of slope over y-intercept: We value learning velocity, grit, and unapologetically unique personalities.We grew in value faster than headcount and we're looking to align the two quickly.What you'll work onDevelop and optimize computational geometry algorithms for reading a 3D CAD modelRapidly prototype, test, and refine geometric algorithms and software implementationsIntegrate and optimize 3D libraries into our software applicationswork closely with mechanical engineers to iterate on your algorithmswhile the algorithms drive the heuristics, you’ll also get to work with LLMs at scale for solving this very niche problemWhat you bring to the tableStrong expertise in computational geometry algorithms, CAD kernels, and geometric modelingSolid proficiency in C++ or Python; experience with Go, React, or Rust is a significant bonusProven ability to quickly prototype, iterate, and deliver effective solutionsExcellent problem-solving skills and clear communicationFamiliarity with mechanical engineering, CAD software, or related domains highly preferredFamiliarity with building agents and LLMopsWhy you should join our Engineering teamEngineers at Hanomi appreciate a high degree of ownership, are passionate about solving complex geometric challenges, and come to work ready to contribute to a small-but-mighty team.You'll have plenty of heads down builder time working on advanced computational geometry problems.
