Working with well-behaved groups of only three students, you will be responsible for leading instruction and motivating students to be successful. There is no lesson plan to create, no homework to grade, no parent-conferencing, and scheduling is flexible. Enjoy all of the benefits of teaching, without any of the downsides!\r\nSylvan Learning Center Math Tutors should know\r\nUse pre-planned lessons that are straightforward, easy to manage, and fun to teach.\r\nTeach students in a small group setting (no more than 4 students per teacher).\r\nMost teachers choose to work 2-5 days/week.\r\nWe are open for instruction weekday afternoons, and Saturday mornings.\r\nThis is NOT a remote position.\r\nSylvan Learning Center Math Tutor Job Requirements\r\nBachelor's Degree required, Teaching Credential required.\r\nYou must enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring students.\r\nBeing punctual is extremely important. Must be local and have reliable transportation.\r\nStrong knowledge of K-6 math.
