We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.\n\nGeneral Purpose:\n\nMakes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.\n\nEssential Duties:\n\nStocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintains inventory records.\nAssists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu\nAssists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content\nMaintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.\nEnsure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.\nCommunicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.\nPerforms opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.\nAccountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.\nReviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.\nServe catered parties from service or portable bars.\nOn occasion will serve meals to guests.\nIncorporates safe work practices in job performance.\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nPerforms other duties as required.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n\nExperience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nFrequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.
