Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to oversee full-service accounting operations across the organization. This individual will own the day-to-day financial functions while also contributing to strategic financial planning, reporting, and compliance as the company continues to scale. High performers will have the opportunity to advance through the following path:Senior Accountant > Accounting Manager > Controller ($90,000+, into six figures)We invest in our people and are committed to promoting from within.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and general ledger oversightPerform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all financial accountsSort, categorize, and track expenses to maintain clean and organized financial recordsProcess payroll and commissions, including generating accurate commission reportsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and reportingDevelop budgets, forecasts, and custom financial reports to support leadership decision-makingMonitor cash flow, financial performance, and variances; provide actionable insightsManage sales tax filings across multiple U.S. states and ensure ongoing complianceSupport company registration, compliance, and tax filings as new state nexus is establishedOversee accounts receivable, including payment plans and collectionsManage external financing relationships and support funding requirementsIdentify and resolve invoicing discrepancies while improving accounting processes and controlsQualifications:RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong command of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProficiency in Quickbooks OnlineAdvanced Excel skillsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work independentlyPreferredCPA license or active CPA candidacyExperience with HubSpot and ShopifyExperience in healthcare, medical practice, or multi-site environmentsPrior experience supporting leadership in a Controller or Finance Manager capacityLocation & Work ArrangementThis is a fully on-site position in North Miami, FL.
