Meetings may be sporadic and can arise with 48 hours’ notice.Reports to: Director of PartnershipsTravel: Local travel within Brevard County and occasional travel throughout FloridaAbout the RoleUplift Aerospace is hiring a part-time Relationship Manager in Brevard County to help build and manage relationships with local schools and district leaders.This role is ideal for a retired or former science, STEM, CTE, or aerospace-related teacher who understands classrooms, has strong local education relationships, and wants a flexible part-time role. Because district and school meetings are often scheduled as opportunities arise, the right candidate should have a flexible schedule and be able to accommodate occasional meetings with short notice.What You’ll DoBuild relationships with Brevard County teachers, principals, district leaders, STEM/CTE contacts, and community partnersRepresent Uplift Aerospace and Starborn Academy in local school and district conversationsHelp identify schools and programs that may be a strong fit for Uplift’s STEM, aerospace, VR, and CTE offeringsSchedule and attend local meetings, school visits, showcases, and presentationsProvide meeting notes, follow-up summaries, and next-step recommendations to the Uplift teamShare local insight on school priorities, implementation needs, and decision-making processesTrack contacts, relationship activity, and opportunities in Uplift’s CRM or internal systemRequired QualificationsLives in Brevard County, FloridaFormer or retired science, STEM, CTE, engineering, technology, robotics, or aerospace-related educatorFlexible part-time schedule with daytime availability for school and district meetingsAbility to accommodate occasional meetings scheduled with approximately 48 hours’ noticeStrong understanding of school culture and district decision-makingComfortable speaking with teachers, principals, district staff, and community partnersProfessional, organized, dependable, and self-directedValid driver’s license and ability to travel to meetings throughout FloridaPreferred QualificationsTeaching experience in Brevard County schoolsExisting relationships with Brevard County educators, school leaders, STEM/CTE contacts, or district staffExperience with STEM, aerospace, robotics, engineering, project-based learning, or career pathway programsFamiliarity with curriculum adoption, instructional materials, school purchasing, grants, or district implementationCompensation$35/hourFlexible part-time scheduleApproved local travel reimbursementPotential for expanded responsibilities as Uplift’s Florida programs growHow to ApplyPlease submit a resume and a short note describing your education background, connection to Brevard County schools, schedule flexibility, and interest in supporting STEM and aerospace education.
