Must work with the quality department to ensure all quality standards are met.\n\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities\nFollow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement\nTeam Player, communicate effectively\nUses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems\nComplete daily pallet jack inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices\nOperate manual pallet jack, press, vise, hand drill, wash tank, solvent tank, solder gun, various air tools, gauges, testers, fax machine, computer, copy machine, and telephone\nUtilize various hand tools such as screwdriver\nMeet monthly production goals\nDisassemble electronics core\nClean and inspect core\nAssemble remanufactured electronics using both core and new parts\nTest electronics to ensure they meet OEM specifications\nPackage remanufactured products\n\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)\nRegular, predictable and reliable attendance\nAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)\nAbility to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE\nMust be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead\nMust be able to push, pull, lift 10 lbs. constantly 11-20 lbs. frequently, and 21-40 lbs. occasionally\nWork in climate controlled areas\nWork in both hearing conservation and non-hearing conservation areas\n\nPreferred\nPreferred 2 + years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production\nAssociate degree: machine tool and technology, or electrical engineering\n\nCompetencies\n\nKnowledge:\nEngineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.\nComputers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.\nMechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.\n\nSkills:\nReading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.\nComplex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.\nCritical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.\nActive Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.\nMonitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.\n\nAbilities:\nProblem Sensitivity — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
