This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building robust, scalable web applications.This role is contract to hire and the hourly rate for this is between 60-70/hr. W2. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered. At this time, Apex is not able to consider candidates for this role who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.Key Responsibilities:Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and the LAMP stack.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.Manage and maintain MySQL databases, including query optimization and schema design.Configure and manage Apache web servers and Linux-based environments.Ensure application security and data protection through best practices.Required Qualifications:5 - 10 + years experinece in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and the LAMP stack.Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).Solid understanding of the LAMP stack and how its components interact.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.Experience working in Linux environments and managing Apache configurations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Understanding of security principles and data protection regulations.Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
