Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.\r\nJob Summary\r\nThe Cloud Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements and deploy, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and solutions.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nProvide operational support for cloud infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams.\r\nImplement, manage, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.\r\nCollaborate with stakeholders and application teams to understand business requirements, troubleshoot operational issues, and deliver timely support.\r\nMonitor cloud environments to ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.\r\nRespond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize service disruptions.\r\nSupport cloud cost optimization initiatives by identifying underutilized resources and recommending efficiency improvements.\r\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.\r\nParticipate in change management, implementation reviews, and incident response activities to support operational excellence.\r\nDocumentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.\r\nGenerate reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and support tickets\r\nCollaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with senior team members to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.\r\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud operations.\r\nEducation Required\r\nAssociate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\r\nEducation Preferred\r\nBachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field.\r\nExperience Required\r\n3-5 years\r\nExperience Preferred\r\nExperience with server and desktop patching in a corporate environment preferred above a degree.\r\nVMWare and Nutanix Experience managing virtual machines\r\nIT Experience in a Colocated Data Center, managing hardware, and cleanly cabling equipment\r\nExcellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize requests\r\nLicenses/Certification Preferred:\r\nAny Cloud Certifications\r\nTechnical Skills and Abilities\r\nWorking knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.\r\nUnderstanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, load balancing, DNS, and connectivity.\r\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and cloud automation practices.\r\nFamiliarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.\r\nKnowledge of cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and compliance controls.\r\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.\r\nAdditional Requirements\r\nLanguage Requirements: English is required, ability to speak other languages is a plus.\r\nPhysical Demands:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.Position requires sitting for long periods but also the physical ability to travel to remote data centers or OpSites, read and apply labels, climb ladders, lift equipment and work in tight and loud spaces.\r\nTravel Requirements: Up to 25%\r\nWork Environment: Fast-paced team environment with a high level of communication\r\nLI-HR1\r\nAFFIRMATIVE ACTION STATEMENT\r\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
