Job SummaryThe Logistics professional analyzes, develops, and implements logistics plans that impact production, distribution, and inventory of finished products. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, conducts distribution and network studies, and provides oversight of logistics projects while ensuring accurate reporting and effective supervision of personnel.Roles And ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and implement logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory of finished productsParticipate in the development and execution of logistics strategies to enhance product flowConduct distribution and network studies to improve delivery times and order fill ratesMonitor inventory levels and analyze requirements to support logistics strategiesMaintain accurate records and prepare required reportsCoordinate logistics activities with internal and external customersOversee logistics projects including planning, assigning work, monitoring progress, and reviewing accuracyEvaluate results and provide activity and status reports to managementSupervise lower-level employeesPerform all other duties as assignedBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of relevant logistics experienceIn lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years of specialized military experience in a related field may be substitutedPreferred QualificationsExperience conducting logistics network and distribution studiesPrior supervisory or project management experienceExperience working with internal and external customers in a logistics environmentKBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
