This position is responsible for supporting the design, planning, execution, and documentation of engineering tests in a research and development environment. The selected candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, scientists, and technicians to ensure testing is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative technologies while working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in developing test requirements, test plans, test procedures, and test designs.\nSupport the design and development of test components and experimental equipment.\nExecute engineering tests and document testing activities.\nAnalyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports.\nSupport the setup, commissioning, and operation of laboratory and experimental equipment.\nCollaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians to ensure testing objectives are achieved.\nAssist with research and development activities supporting advanced engineering programs.\nMaintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of testing.\nPromote continuous improvement and support implementation of engineering best practices.\nEnsure all work is performed safely and in compliance with established procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nFive (5) or more years of experience in testing, engineering, research, or product development environments preferred.\nExperience working in laboratory or research environments.\nExperience supporting R&D, acceptance, validation, qualification, or performance testing.\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and documenting experimental data.\nStrong technical writing and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively on multiple projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nDemonstrated commitment to safety and quality.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.\nPreferred Experience\nResearch and Development (R&D)\nExperimental testing\nLaboratory operations\nMechanical or electrical testing\nData acquisition and analysis\nEngineering documentation\nCommissioning and startup activities\nHighly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or advanced manufacturing\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
