The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, organization, delivery and administration of sports leagues, youth programs, tournaments and activities targeted toward youth and adults. The incumbent assists in the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and development of the team.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nAssist in the development, organization, delivery and administration of sports leagues, tournaments, youth programs, activities and awards.\r\nAssist in planning, organization, scheduling, and directing all games, facilities, officials, and scorekeepers for sports and activities.\r\nAssist in the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, training, development and supervision of sport team members.\r\nEnsure a high level of customer service for all program participants.\r\nEnsures that program standards are met.\r\nAssist in producing and managing the program budget to ensure revenue and program service goals are achieved.\r\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by supervisory personnel (Program Director, Manager on Duty, etc.) and/or the General Manager.\r\nRequirements\r\nDemonstrated leadership ability\r\nDisplay professionalism in appearance and interaction with guests\r\nDetail oriented and possess outstanding organizational skills\r\nAbility to remain calm and focused in a high-volume, fast-paced environment\r\nAbility to work in difficult and stressful environments\r\nAbility to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously\r\nAbility to remain calm and professional in emergency situations\r\nAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary\r\nQualifications\r\nAny combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:\r\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience developing, implementing, scheduling and evaluating varied sports recreation programs\r\nMinimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience\r\nKnowledge of rules in sports recreation program activities\r\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills\r\nCreative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programming\r\nExcellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build community relationships\r\nBasic skills in Google Workspace\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nStanding: Constantly (>66%)\r\nSitting: Rarely ( Kneeling: Rarely ( Walking/Running: Constantly (>66%)\r\nBending/stooping: Occasionally ( Reaching/twisting: Occasionally ( Lifting/pushing/pulling: Occasionally (lifting up to 50 lbs with/without assistance, push/pull up to 100lbs using wheeled devices) ( Hearing: Constantly (>66%)\r\nTalking/shouting: Constantly (>66%)\r\nSeeing: Constantly (>66%)\r\nThe Program Coordinator may be indoors in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment or outdoors in ambient temperature and humidity except in rain/thunderstorm weather conditions.
