CTC Scheduling Specialist
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Oversees scheduling functions for the nursing staff atthe Community Treatment Center (CTC). Essential Duties Provides andoversees scheduling services for nursing staff at the CTC. Entersscheduling information into the Kronos and Advanced Scheduler system.Provides administrative support to the Director of Nursing Hospital andNursing Home. Facilitates coordination of performance evaluations fornursing staff with nursing administration. Facilitates tracking ofabsenteeism of facility staff to include the notification to appropriatesupervisors as to the need for disciplinary action. Drafts and sends outmonthly reports to appropriate supervisor in areas concerning facilitystaff which need immediate attention - i.e., performance appraisals,attendance issues. Follows-up with /Department Heads in a timely mannerto assure appropriate action has been administered. Works with HumanResources regarding the status of filling vacancies. Approves vacationleaves for nursing staff based on staffing ratios. Participates inadministrative meetings including department managers. Maintains centralemployee file for reports from nursing supervisory staff regardingEmployees. Performs Related Functions As Assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDSLifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying ofobjects weighing up to 10 pounds. Extended periods of sitting;intermittent standing and walking. Using hand(s)/feet for repetitivesingle grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and operatingcontrols. Occasional bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, reaching,and grappling. Communicating orally in a clear manner. Distinguishingsounds at various frequencies and volumes. Distinguishing people orobjects at varied distances under a variety of light conditions. Must befree from communicable disease. Knowledge of and ability to utilize a computer and the requiredsoftware, including word processing, spreadsheet and database function.Ability to interpret union contracts and scheduling guidelines. Abilityto type at a minimum rate of 40 net words per minute. Ability to performmathematical calculations for accurate record keeping and reportgeneration. Ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with staff, clients, officials and the public. Ability toprovide direction to others. Ability to coordinate multiple problems andprojects concurrently. Ability to organize and maintain information andmaterials efficiently. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Abilityto problem solve effectively. Ability to organize and effectivelydeliver written and oral presentations. Ability to work effectively withlocal, state and federal regulatory agencies. Ability to identifyproblems, analyze information and make appropriate decisions. Ability tomaintain the confidential nature of client, staff and businessinformation.
