This is accomplished by viewing drawings, prints, schematics, and shop manuals to ensure proper component placement and operation.\n\nMPI drives a LEAN culture, focused on customer service excellence. We do this by working to simplify our processes and driving out waste or non-value-added activities. We value participation at all levels and invest in our employees’ training to achieve continuous development of our dynamic team.\nQualifications:\nUnderstanding of electrical fundamentals and the ability to read and interpret schematics, ability to comprehend circuits and components.\nMechanical experience in assembly or repair.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings.\nProficient with standard shop tools, hand and electric, such as drill, jigsaw, and tap.\nModerate skill and ability to perform technical trouble shooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical components and control mechanisms.\nModerate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products.\nAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to speak effectively with employees of organizations including fellow workers, engineering staff and supervisors.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nMPI is a LEAN company and maintaining your work area and tools in a clean, safe, and organized manner is a requirement.\nAssist and support lean manufacturing initiates within the department and other areas as requested.\nValid driver’s license: checked and verified by MPI Insurance carrier before driving MPI vehicles.\nUS Citizenship required.\nResponsibilities:\nSupports MPI lean culture and initiatives by attending and participating in daily lean meetings while supporting efforts to make continuous improvements throughout MPI.\nFollow Quality Control assembly check lists to assemble sub-assemblies and machines.\nProper component placement with appropriate sealant and torque as required.\nOperate forklift for material placement, upon completion of MPI training.\nOperate hoist and lift tables, upon completion of MPI training.\nFollow all Personal Protection Procedures and Requirements.\nCompliance of all OSHA and MPI Safety Procedures.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n\nCompany Profile:\nWhy Join MPI\nCompetitive salary range of $21-22.00 per hour to commensurate with experience.\nExcellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and generous PTO.\nBe part of an innovative company that invests in your growth.\nWork with advanced technologies in a collaborative, team-focused environment.\nContribute to meaningful projects that make an impact on global manufacturing.\nOpportunity for career advancement.\nReady to join a company where innovation and continuous improvement drive success?
