TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.Position DescriptionA job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.Major/Essential FunctionsCollaborate with LVNs, RNs, physicians, and physician assistants to support patient care. Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable experience. Perform patient triage, assessing urgency and clinical needs. Provides cross-functional support within various clinical setting assigned by the Section Manager. Record vital signs and obtain brief medical history for provider review. Administer oral and injectable medications as prescribed by the physician. Occasional DutiesEmployees in this classification are responsible for performing a wide variety of care activities in an assigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic on an as-needed basis. The incumbent is assigned per the direction of the section manager of the PRN nursing pool. Work is performed as part of the total healthcare team to provide complete patient evaluations/assessments. Required QualificationsDue to the broad nature of work found in this job, minimum qualifications for a particular job will be determined by the hiring manager. The qualifications will be commensurate with level and nature of work to be performed.
