We're seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum-to-perm opportunity in Lima, Ohio, providing hospital-based call coverage within a busy cardiovascular surgery program. The Role Lima, OH Cardiothoracic Surgery EMR: Epic Locum to Perm Opportunity Coverage Dates July 9 (7AM) - July 16 (7AM) July 29 (7AM) - August 5 (7AM) August 20 (7AM) - August 27 (7AM) September 11 (7AM) - September 16 (7AM) September 28 (7AM) - October 2 (7AM) October 26 (7AM) - November 4 (7AM) December 16 (7AM) - December 23 (7AM) Schedule & Practice Details 24-hour call shifts Coverage need: 10-14 call days per month Hospital-based rounding and surgical coverage Average 1 case per day Level II Trauma Center 20 operating rooms available Support staff includes 3 Physician Assistants Adult patient population Required Procedures • CABG Procedures • Arterial Revascularization • Redo Coronary Revascularization • Pericardial Window Procedures • Heart Valve Repair & Replacement • Mitral Valve Repair Opportunity Highlights • Locum-to-permanent potential • Strong APP and OR support • High-level cardiac surgery program • EPIC EMR environment • Emergency privileging considered • Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days Candidate Requirements • Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon • Active Ohio License required • Fellowship Training required • BLS & ACLS required • Must be available for listed coverage dates • Must perform all required procedures independently • Self-Query NPDB within 30 days required at presentation • EPIC experience preferred Let's Talk. info@proteanmed.com (281) 772-3956
