Using analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific methods, we develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of origination, cleanliness, and structure. We work every day to use data analytics and data science to further mission success!\n\nData Scientists can expect to:\nAnalyze and define data requirements and specifications.\nAnalyze data to discover trends and patterns.\nAnalyze data sources to provide actionable recommendations.\nAssess the validity of source data and subsequent findings.\nCollect metrics and trending data.\nPresent findings using data visualization techniques.\nDevelop data standards, policies, and procedures.\nProvide actionable recommendations to critical stakeholders based on data analysis and findings.\nDevise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets.\nMake and communicate principled conclusions from data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledge.\nThrough analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific method, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure.\nTranslate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and, conversely, assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data.\nMake informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions by maintaining awareness of the constantly-shifting state of current data collection, processing, storage and analytic capabilities and limitations.\nWe have multiple levels of opportunity here! We are looking for early career, through the most senior levels of experience.\nWhile entry level requires a BS degree and only one (1) year of experience (Or a HS diploma plus 5 years) - the highest level requires the BS degree plus fourteen (14) years of experience (or a HS diploma plus eighteen years).
