Our Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC) is a state-of-the-art facility providing critical withdrawal management and sobering services to individuals experiencing substance use crises.\nWe are seeking passionate and skilled Staff Nurses (RN/LPN) who want meaningful work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where every shift has the power to change lives.\nWhy Join CODA?\nMission-Driven Work: Support individuals at a critical turning point in their recovery journey\nCompetitive Pay & Excellent Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and more\nFlexible Scheduling: Full-time and part-time opportunities across multiple shifts\nCollaborative Culture: Join a supportive team built on compassion, courage, respect, and teamwork\nProfessional Growth: Expand your clinical expertise in addiction medicine and behavioral health\nAbout the Role\nAs a Staff Nurse – Withdrawal Management/Sobering, you’ll provide direct patient care and medical monitoring to individuals withdrawing from substances or experiencing acute intoxication.\nYou’ll work closely with the Nurse Manager, Licensed Medical Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants, Recovery Mentors, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care in a trauma-informed environment.\nThis is a hands-on nursing role where strong assessment skills, calm decision-making, and compassionate care truly matter.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide Direct Patient Care\nConduct admission screenings and nursing assessments\nMonitor withdrawal symptoms, patient stability, and ongoing progress\nAdminister medications and follow individualized treatment plans\nMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record\nRespond to Emergencies & Critical Needs\nRecognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations\nCoordinate with Licensed Medical Practitioners when patient conditions change\nSupport safe transitions to higher levels of care when needed\nCollaborate with the Care Team\nWork alongside CMAs, Recovery Mentors, and clinical teams to support patient outcomes\nParticipate in case reviews, treatment planning, and care coordination meetings\nHelp maintain safe, compliant, and effective treatment environments\nSupport Sobering Services\nProvide medical monitoring for acutely intoxicated individuals\nEnsure patient safety and stabilization within the sobering setting\nWhat You Bring\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Nursing\nOR\nAssociate’s Degree in Nursing + additional nursing experience\nMinimum 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred\nUnderstanding of ASAM criteria and behavioral health interventions preferred\nLicensure & Certifications\nCurrent Oregon RN or LPN license\nRN required for Sobering services\nBLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)\nCrisis Prevention Training (within 90 days)\nValid driver’s license if driving is required\nSkills & Strengths\nStrong clinical judgment and patient assessment abilities\nKnowledge of substance use withdrawal syndromes and addiction treatment principles\nAbility to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams\nCalm, compassionate approach in high-acuity situations\nStrong communication and documentation skills\nWho Thrives Here?\nThis role is ideal for nurses who:\nThrive in fast-paced clinical environments\nWant meaningful, mission-driven work\nValue teamwork and collaboration\nAre passionate about behavioral health and addiction recovery\nLead with compassion while maintaining professionalism and boundaries\nStart Making an Impact Today\nAt CODA, your work matters.
