Sustainment Inventory Management Manager - Level 5

Job DescriptionYou will be the Sustainment Inventory Management and Systems Manager - Level 5. What You Will Be DoingAs a manager, you will be responsible for leadership over the Sustainment Supply Operations and Logistics - Inventory Management team. The current team consists of 18 salaried individual contributors supporting all Aeronautics lines of business. You will provide both supply expertise as well as leadership to and develop a cohesive team of employees to support the following execution activities: • Overseeing project management integration and performance management for strategic property management supply functions • Maintaining processes and ensuring execution of wholistic wholesale and retail inventory management • Establishing the IT infrastructure, processes, and data needed to meet government mandated Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements • Coordinating participation in customer reviews and other key customer-driven events • Collaborating with program management teams and other functional departments to plan and organize work to ensure program performance • Managing team deliverables to meet or exceed budget, schedule, and performance goals using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Management principals • Administering selection of new employees, performance assessments, work assignments, and awards and recognition • Operating programs in accordance with company objectives, policies, and procedures • Establishing and maintaining work standards consistent with Aeronautics Operating Model practices • Instituting and maintaining a team culture consistent with OneLM behaviors of Collaborate to Win, Accelerate Change, and Hear and Be Heard What's In It For You:From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security, Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package here. Basic Qualifications• Holds an Active Secret Clearance prior to start • Holds a Bachelors, Masters, or advanced degree in relevant discipline, OR combination of equivalent experience/education. • Demonstrated experience in leading teams or project teams; using Full Spectrum Leadership skills to lead in person and/or virtual teams or project teams. • Previous experience with logistics, supply, and/or inventory management practices; knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements. • Demonstrated business acumen to include experience in Earned Value Management (EVMS) and performance metrics. Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $134,900 - $233,680.
