Job Description:USPRO Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the full scope of field operations for complex ground-up construction projects in the New London, CT area. This role is responsible for managing site safety, QA/QC execution, subcontractor coordination, documentation control, scheduling, and daily field leadership throughout the full construction lifecycle. The Lead Superintendent will supervise day-to-day jobsite activity while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents and schedule milestones. Key Responsibilities: SafetyEnforce OSHA compliance and site safety requirementsCoordinate JHAs, safety planning, and subcontractor safety participationManage inspections, reporting, and corrective actionsMaintain site security controls and documentation readinessQA/QCDevelop and lead project QA/QC execution plansCoordinate mockups and benchmark reviewsMonitor compliance with drawings, specifications, and code requirementsOversee punch list completion and project closeout activitiesSupport ADA, FHA, and accessibility compliance coordinationSubcontractor ManagementLead subcontractor coordination and logistics planningConduct pre-mobilization and weekly subcontractor meetingsMonitor productivity and manpower levelsIdentify scope gaps and resolve field conflicts proactivelyDocument ControlMaintain daily reports and site documentationTrack permits, inspections, and testing requirementsSupport shop drawing reviews and field photo documentationManage T&M tracking and hot-list itemsSchedulingDevelop and maintain baseline schedules and 3-week look-ahead schedulesCoordinate trade sequencing and deliveriesMonitor schedule performance and communicate delaysSupport schedule mitigation planning with project leadershipRelationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partnersSupport coordination across stakeholders and field teamsCommunicate project updates clearly and professionallyProject Management SupportAssist with site logistics planning and phasing strategiesParticipate in OAC meetingsTrack procurement coordination and field-driven cost impactsSupport BIM execution coordination as requiredLeadershipProvide direction and mentorship to field staffPromote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementSupport training and development of project personnelRequired Qualifications8+ years of construction field leadership experienceDemonstrated experience managing ground-up construction projectsStrong understanding of subcontractor coordination and site logisticsAbility to interpret construction drawings and schedulesStrong communication and leadership skillsExperience using Procore or similar construction management platforms preferredMilitary experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.Equal Opportunity Statement:USPRO is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, disability and/or other protected categories.
