{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b20e9fbfcd1368de4df084a2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b20e9fbfcd1368de4df084a2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b20e9fbfcd1368de4df084a2","title":"Audit Senior Associate","description":"Overview:\nLocation: Omaha, NE\n\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid or In-office\nResponsibilities:\nTypical Day in the Life\nA typical day as an Audit Senior Associate in Omaha, NE might include the following:\nInitiates client engagement meetings and determines timelines, objectives and expectations of an engagement.\nPerforms audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients.\nPlans and performs all phases of an engagement including workpaper preparation, financial statement preparation, and report preparation.\nAnalyzes and prepares trial balances, complex financial statements and audit reports using audit software programs, Word, and Excel.\nReconciles accounting information to control accounts.\nConducts fraud interviews on an as-needed basis with CEO, accountants and other employees.\nReviews staff work, prepares high risk audit sections and drafts financials statements.\nProvides financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.\nRequests and collects appropriate information to diagnose and solve client problems.\nCoordinates various activities to meet client needs within a specified time frame.\nTrains staff on the various aspects of an audit and delegates work based on availability and experience.\nUnderstands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary.\nPerforms field work at client locations as necessary.\nNetworks, builds relationships, and attracts new clients or business to the Firm.\nAttends training seminars, professional development, and networking events.\nQualifications:\nWho You Are\nYou have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).\nYou have 2-5 years of audit experience (required).\nYou have a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtaining CPA license (preferred).\nYou like the challenge of in-charging engagements and providing constructive feedback to other team members.\nYou have well-rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.\nYou can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.\nYou are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.\n\nCulture at Eide Bailly\nIntegrity.
