This position is responsible for the day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, performance, and availability of network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments. The successful candidate will possess hands-on network administration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain secure and reliable network operations within an enterprise environment.\n\nScope of Work\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nDeploy, configure, administer, and sustain new and existing information networks, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.\nPerform day-to-day network administration to maintain network availability, integrity, performance, and security.\nInstall, configure, maintain, and update network hardware, software, and associated components.\nMonitor network performance and availability and identify and resolve connectivity, configuration, and performance issues.\nPerform daily network performance monitoring and capacity analysis.\nMaintain the network security posture and implement required security controls.\nPerform network infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to ensure appropriate operational and security posture.\nSupport the configuration and administration of network devices and associated technologies.\nManage applicable user accounts, permissions, and network access.\nSupport backup and recovery activities for network systems and configurations.\nTroubleshoot network hardware, software, connectivity, and performance issues.\nIdentify network vulnerabilities, operational risks, and areas requiring remediation or improvement.\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles supporting network operations.\nCoordinate with technical teams and other stakeholders to resolve network-related issues and maintain reliable network services.\nFollow established cybersecurity, configuration management, and operational procedures.\nPerform other network administration and operational support activities as required.\n\nExperience, Education, and Certification Requirements:\n\nExperience:\n\nFour (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating intermediate proficiency in network administration or a related discipline.\nHands-on experience deploying, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.\nExperience configuring and maintaining network hardware, software, and associated infrastructure.\nExperience with network performance monitoring and capacity analysis.\nExperience maintaining network security and implementing applicable security controls.\nExperience performing network infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes.\nExperience troubleshooting network connectivity, configuration, availability, and performance issues.\nExperience developing or maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, maintenance guides, and/or knowledge base articles.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree and/or applicable equivalency of four (4) years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\n\nCertification Requirements:\n\nCandidate must possess an appropriate commercial baseline certification aligned with the intermediate proficiency level.
